Earlier this year, I found myself in one of the most challenging and exciting moments of my localization career — managing five multimedia localization projects at the same time, while switching between the roles of Project Manager (LPM), Translator, and DTP specialist, across both client-side and vendor-side environments.
Here’s a quick overview of the five projects I managed simultaneously:
- Project 1: Localization of two movie posters
- Project 2: Adaptation of three promotional game posters
- Project 3: TV series poster localization
- Project 4: UI localization of a music App interface
- Project 5: Transcreation of a UI interaction for the WeChat “tickle” feature

I was actively involved in every stage, from planning and linguistic QA to desktop publishing and delivery.
