In this project, we internationalized and localized an e-commerce web application for Pedego E-Bikes using a sample GitHub repository. The goal was to prepare the website for global audiences by implementing full i18n/l10n support, both on the front end and in the codebase.
🔧 What we did:
- Set up internationalization (i18n) using industry best practices
- Localized the user interface for multiple target markets
- Modified and extended the GitHub repository to support multilingual functionality
- Created localized versions of UI strings, currency formats, and date/time displays
In addition to technical implementation, we also examined localization’s role across the entire product lifecycle—from initial product design and market research to ongoing updates.
